				<description>&#060;p&#062;I am still in Mexico. &#038;nbsp;The tides were not as favorable this week but I still got in at least 6 miles of walking a day. &#038;nbsp;I have been trying to ensure that I eat a lot of fruit and raw veggies every day. &#038;nbsp;There is a scale at the grocery store and I hop on every three days or so. &#038;nbsp;I was up 1.5 kg one day and then back to normal the next so am managing to hold my own - I think.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Tony goes home on Sunday and we will be eating at all his faves over the next two days so both lunch and dinner out. &#038;nbsp;I will try to be careful. &#038;nbsp;He thinks my hips and legs are tighter from all the walking but I am not sure. &#038;nbsp;Yesterday we walking for a few miles in the water. &#038;nbsp;It was quite the workout since the undertow created a lot of resistance and the need to use the core for stability. &#038;nbsp;My kind of exercise.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Ok week for sticking with better food choices despite the long weekend and still taking a salad for lunch each day&#038;nbsp;so slowly losing my holiday bonus. Terrible week for exercise though. Wasn't 100% well this week (thanks DS for sharing!)&#038;nbsp;so it fell off my list of priorities. Onwards and upwards though. Next week will be better.&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;Kiwigal I have read about how stress can mess with your bodies metabolism. I find that for me stress makes me more likely to comfort eat. But there is definitely a threshold where if I cross it I am so knotted up that I can't eat and lose my appetite altogether. Not a happy place to be.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;Style Fan, sounds like you are still fitting in more exercise than most would during travel. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Anne, are you using a lot of GF products like pasta or breads? A lot of them have as many or more calories than the gluten filled ones. I tend to use them pretty sparingly.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Citygirl DC, great first week back. Yeah, we lose fitness fast. It takes 2 weeks to lose the benefits of 1 week of exercise.&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;Kiwigal, it asually does come down to the basics although the groundbreaking stuff is much more exciting.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;A good week for me. &#038;nbsp;Back to the gym last week three times, one decent walk, and lots of tennis, swimming and walking at the beach. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Food has mostly been good with lots of yummy summer produce around - my zucchini plants are going nuts and I have discovered I like them grated raw with carrot, other salad vege and crumbled feta on top.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I did indulge with wine and tiramisu at a friend's place- but to me that is the point of being healthy 80% of the time, being able to indulge occasionally. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Late last year I got the food treats wrong and was indulging too often - not walking enough, and being stressed out made the weight cling on!! &#038;nbsp;This was despite doing lots of gym work.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;There is a NZ author in the health field called Dr Libby and she thinks being stressed makes it harder to lose weight. &#038;nbsp;In my case I am sure that is correct - I know others who get a stomach in knots when stressed and who forget to eat. &#038;nbsp;She also talks about the importance of breathing, alcohol free days and green vege. &#038;nbsp;Nothing ground breaking but all good stuff!&#060;/p&#062;

I've been tracking what I've been eating but no exercise since I had was sick last week.&#038;nbsp; I've&#038;nbsp;cut down on my wine intake&#038;nbsp;to having a&#038;nbsp; glass ever other day and trying to get my veggies and fruits in.&#038;nbsp;My goals for the week:&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;li&#062;Mon: HIIT class - I was so winded&#038;nbsp;in class&#038;nbsp;today I couldn't keep up.&#038;nbsp; Apparently, one&#038;nbsp;CAN lose fitness in 2 weeks. Ugh!&#060;/li&#062;

I have had a month between jobs, which was lovely and a much needed break and family time, but I am not very self controlled at eating when I am home all the time, and not that great at exercising in the hot Australian summer.&#060;br /&#062;And I really need to lose a couple of kilos or some of my work wardrobe (which is on the minimal side as it is) won't fit. Or some of my casual wardrobe, for that matter.&#060;br /&#062;And having both reached a certain age, and now eating gluten free as a celiac (once your gut heals, it absorbs more nutrients), it is getting harder to lose weight.&#060;br /&#062;&#038;nbsp;I did a lot of walking in Melbourne, but no other exercise last week. Planning to go to the gym today...&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Much better week than last. Kept food diary, did exercise of some kind every day, and my jeans all fit, although some still not 100%. And a week of no wine or alcohol.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I spend a lot of time in front of my computer (2 articles accepted but need to do some revision.) I drink a lot of water, which means I have to get up more often, and then the cats nag me to play with them every so often. Since I keep them indoors, I feel obliged to give them some exercise time. Good for me too.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;This week more of the same with a couple of events to look forward to. Also, with the warm weather, I'm getting out summery clothes and trying them on, inspiring me to keep on track.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;A bit of a stressful week, during which I consciously cancelled a workout and went to a fancy pastry place and had a slice of cake and a cup of coffee,instead!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I did 2 runs, 2 swims, 1 bike, and tried out a 'yoga for runners' class.  Never did yoga before, and LOVED the class!  I am committed to becoming a regular!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Food was excellent!  DH and DS did very well with their cooking responsibilities!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;A good week for me, I've worked hard with my diet on this meltdown challenge, and seen results. &#038;nbsp;This next week I'm thinking I should amp up the exercise a bit too. &#038;nbsp;I'm currently doing one 15 minute workout in the morning (JessicaSmithTV). &#038;nbsp;She's rather light-weight right now, and I'm thinking that I should add in one of her more advanced and/or longer workouts too. &#038;nbsp;We'll see if that happens (I thought the same thing last week, but didn't act on it)
