				<description>&#060;p&#062;I have been logging all my exercise, trying to vary what I do everyday and giving myself a total break from formal exercising once or twice a week ( I usually walk 2 to 3 times a day with the dog in addition to exercise walking). Now that DD is back to college there is more normalcy in my life right now. I have been adding blueberries and strawberries (yeah fresh strawberries!!) to breakfast and now with lunch I have been drinking water with a tablespoon of Metamucil (doctor said this was fine to do). I find it fills me up so that I don't have any afternoon cravings and no bloating whatsoever. Late afternoon I have been drinking tea (never was tea lover, but now I am) and I don't know if I am imagining it or not, my belly has shrunk. I am still at the same weight and hopefully will start to see some lower numbers soon.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I want to get the FitBit Charge HR to help me keep better track of my fitness regime as well as my normal daily habits. Hopefully, I will get one in the next few weeks.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I've been doing 60 minutes of cardio 5 x a week since Christmas - I had been doing only 40 minutes&#038;nbsp;but this extra push is really making a difference.&#038;nbsp; A stack of skirts I thought I had to donate because they were tight are now fitting me again.&#038;nbsp; I signed up for a 1/2 marathon yesterday (I did the same one&#038;nbsp;last October).&#038;nbsp; Also doing weight training 3 times a week.&#038;nbsp; Doing a lot less unhealthy snacking and eating more fruits and veggies.

&#060;p&#062;I was good with my eating. No snacking after dinner and took a healthy lunch each day to work and went away&#038;nbsp;from my desk to the nearest square&#038;nbsp;to&#038;nbsp;eat it. Dropped a half kilo which is not bad considering I haven't managed to actually get back on the treadmill yet. I have been generally more active since getting back to work though&#038;nbsp;between occasionally running for the train and taking the stairs during the day.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;This week the plan is&#038;nbsp;to get&#038;nbsp;back to the treadmill or swim at least three times (although here we are Wed and I haven't done it yet). DH has lost a bit too since we've been paying more attention to what is for dinner...we had&#038;nbsp;slipped into some bad habits over the Xmas break.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I had a good week last week.&#038;nbsp; Two boot camp classes, a walk around the Rose Bowl, a private training session, and a tap class.&#038;nbsp; And I am happy to report my weight is back to pre-Christmas levels.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Up this week: One trainer session, four boot camps, and a tap class.&#038;nbsp; Food is going reasonably well so I'm staying the course.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I don't know if I mentioned it, but New Guy and I were having a bit of a dilemma about food and alcohol.&#038;nbsp; He is a big guy (6' tall and a lot of muscle) and I was trying to keep up with his cocktail before dinner and wine with dinner, and I'm not a big eater at all so I am happy with appetizers and no entree, and he was following suit.&#038;nbsp; Which ended up meaning I was turning into an alcoholic and he was starving to death!&#038;nbsp; LOL&#038;nbsp; We've got it pretty well sorted out finally (I order a cocktail and only drink half; I order an appetizer instead of an entree and he orders a full entree).&#038;nbsp; But it was pretty funny there for a while!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I am in Mexico for another 3.5 weeks. &#038;nbsp;I am at around 150K steps for the last week. &#038;nbsp;Yesterday we walked over 14 miles and most was on the beach. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I had a heck of a time controlling my weight for a few years but seem to be returning to normal after perimenopause. &#038;nbsp;I am still a bit heavier than i would like to be but it is an improvement.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am going to put together a doable exercise plan for when I get home. &#038;nbsp;I find it hard to be fit when it is freezing and snowy out but that is the time that it is easiest to overeat.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;My week was unusual.&#038;nbsp; We were on the road a lot.&#038;nbsp; We went to a funeral, doctor's appointments and visited stepson before trip down south.&#038;nbsp; This meant our daily Yoga practice got messed up.&#038;nbsp; I am feeling it now.&#038;nbsp; I am using my phone to try and walk at least 10,000 steps a day.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;While I was in Toronto I bought some new Yoga clothes.&#038;nbsp; :)&#038;nbsp; Looking forward to doing Yoga tomorrow.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;3 runs, 1 swim, 1bike this week, and signed up for a 10k the end of May.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;The Y has just opened up 3 new pm spots for lane swims, and there is a 'yoga for runners' on Tuesday.  They start at 8pm and my train gets in at 7pm.  Will give it a try this week.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Nutrition has been excellent.  DH (who has to do dinners now due to my late schedule) got the memo about vegetables!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Despite keeping a food diary and careful eating I gained two pounds! Grumble. I ate out twice, both times at seafood restaurants and didn't run amuck, so possibly I just had a lot of salt. DH has cut way down on calories as well, but his weight is still up.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Not a good week for moving around a lot either. I did get outside today to do some pruning and yard clean up.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;This week the weather forecast is for the low 70s, so I will be more motivated to walk and garden.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm going to charge up my camera and start taking WIW photos again. That always motivates me not to give up.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;I am back from South America, without too much damage, in fact I think I have lost weight (I don't weigh). &#038;nbsp;I had put on a little in the pre Christmas lead up. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Sadly I have come to the conclusion that my metabolism is slowing and I need to be more careful with my eating. &#038;nbsp;I don't think realistically I can exercise too much more although I plan to walk/bike more when possible rather than using the car. &#038;nbsp;I love food and am not good at showing restraint so it will be a battle. &#038;nbsp;But I don't want 2kg to become 4kg etc...so best to address it now. &#038;nbsp;I am trying to reduce snacking, increase vegetables, and reduce processed carbs. &#038;nbsp;But I am hungry right now!!&#060;/p&#062;
