				<description>&#060;p&#062;Thanksgiving must be a challenge, from a diet perspective!  A good week here with four gym workouts and moderate eating.  Jeans feeling a little looser.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I agree re the eating and exercise.  I struggle much more with eating than fitness though.  I also need the muscle and energy to get through the week.  I try to think about in terms of health rather than appearance.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Runcarla, I have the same problem with sleep. I work all three shifts so it can be hard to get into a bedtime routine. I don't tend to raid the fridge at night, but getting on the computer is another problem.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Aziraphale, So true.&#038;nbsp;I've lost a few lbs by watching my portions lately. I don't exercise to lose weight, I do it to build muscle. When my body is stronger, my life doesn't tire me out the way it does when I'm out of shape.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Ugh. I haven't done any exercise for a month. I feel weak and pale.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;On the upside, my classes ended last week and I went for a lovely hike in the sun on Friday. Also, I've made an interesting discovery. Eating not very much has a more profound effect on my waistline than exercise. I've always been pretty good about exercising, but in the past few years, I've noticed that I am thinner when I don't run than when I do. I don't think it's the exercising, though -- I think it's because when I'm too busy to run, I'm also too busy to remember to eat!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;4 treadmill runs.  Been doing run/walk and gradually lengthening the time between walks.  Ready to do a 5k straight run in the coming week.  1 spin and 1 lane swim.  Had a 2 hour dental session on Thursday, so no workput that day.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;December my goal is to tackle my sleep hygiene.  I wake up a couple times a night, but instead of settling back in, I get up and mess around on the computer, or raid the fridge!  Last night I woke up twice, but I stayed out of the kitchen, and away from the computer.  Just plumped up my pillows and settled back in.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Had a nice holiday. I wasn't super hungry so I didn't eat a gut busting amount but I did eat more than I usually do. Weight held steady. With the holiday, Christmas shopping and putting together the wedding guest outfit, exercise took a back seat. &#060;/p&#062;
