				<description>&#060;p&#062;I've been low carbing for over a month without any cheats. After an initial drop in weight, my body recalibrated and regained the five lost pounds. This would be discouraging if weight were my only motivation in adhering to this eating pattern.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Workouts at the gym are going well, although I'm still struggling with knee valgus (&#034;knee cave&#034; during squats).&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Benched 127.5lb (personal best!), squatted 186lb, and deadlifted 268.5.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Added weight training (Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday) to the routine this month and haven't missed a work-out.  Managing short runs (5k) during lunch hours,  a swim or two, and a yoga class.   &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Feeling especially good after seeing a sports chiro who fixed my right shoulder!  It was impingement from a muscle imbalance and not a joint of tendon injury like I feared.  One treatment and an exercise that I am to perform daily.  I have a follow up next week, but so far so good.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Definitely not glamorous! It's a tiny little fitness studio with one room for classes, one for personal training and a couple massage rooms. The movie &#034;Bastards&#034; is being filmed there (Danny Devito, Meryl Streep, Ed somebody, etc). The movie folks are turning my class room into a vet for some kind of heart-wrenching final scene. They're painting, putting up walls, changing hardware, etc and then dismanteling by next week. The really absurd thing is that I could toss a kettle bell from the gym parking lot to my vet's parking lot across the alley. Oh well, at least we'll have Thurs-Sat classes at a nearby location. Then, hopefully all will be back to normal by next Monday.

&#060;p&#062;Well done Anne and Shedev - I agree eating slowly is a great idea.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I had a steady week - three hard gym workouts, one decent walk, but the food was poor in the weekend. &#038;nbsp;I fell over my step at the gym and have had tight calves ever since.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;That was fast, Shedev! My weight is UP 2 pounds since getting back from Cleveland...figure that one out! Hoping it's just water, but we'll see.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Interesting about slowing down your eating, Anne. I'll have to pay attention to mine this week.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;After being on the road 6 days, I was able to hit the gym for classes Tues, Wed and Thurs. I worked out at home Sat, Sun and today since the gym is closed til Thursday while they film some movie there.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My husband is getting me a Bosu Ball for my birthday in a couple weeks, so I'm excited to add it to the home gym. As much as I HATE this torture device, it's pretty amazing:-).

&#060;p&#062;My weight is down a little too - around 2 kg from that high point when I got that high bodyfat measurement a month ago.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I have been a little more self controlled with food. One thing that is really helpful is eating my lunch a LOT more slowly. It has made me feel fuller with less.&#038;nbsp;I have a&#038;nbsp;couple of bites, and then time every subsequent bite at 5 minute intervals. I&#038;nbsp;can do this because I just eat my lunch at my desk after going to the gym- it would be a bit weird at meals with other people, though I am trying to slow down my&#038;nbsp;eating there too.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062; I have just about recovered from my bike fall 2 weeks ago, with only some slight bruising left. I started running again on the weekend and went out again this morning. Hopefully I'll be able to pick the repaired bike up soon and start cycling again.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Last week I also did 3 weights session, one spin class and a yoga class,&#060;br /&#062;This week I plan on 3 weights, one yoga, one short inverval session and a (5km) parkrun.&#060;/p&#062;
