				<description>&#060;p&#062;DC has been pretty warm (70s) the past week with the exception of maybe one day being in the 60s.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Last week, I made an effort to start sticking to my daily food goals, keep track of both food and activity,&#038;nbsp;and not going over my daily calories. It paid off when I weighed in this morning and saw a 2.2 lbs. loss. It was a nice surprise. My goal is to lose 7-10 lbs. by the new year. I think it can be done.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Meanwhile, I have the Philly half marathon coming up at the end of November&#038;nbsp;and this week's training has been bad. &#038;nbsp;Tomorrow is another day. :)&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;Kiwigal, I,m starting to take a little melatonin and it is really improving my sleep. I had to purge most of my sweaters a while back because I gained just enough size in the shoulders to make them snug.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I would like to join in on this post if that is okay.&#038;nbsp; I do yoga everyday (Power and Flow).&#038;nbsp; Power is very vigorous and is a real workout.&#038;nbsp; I needed to build some strength after years of&#038;nbsp;not doing too much.&#038;nbsp; I walk everyday as well.&#038;nbsp; Last week I did C3&#038;nbsp;and Barre Fitness for the first time.&#038;nbsp; C3 is Core Cardio conditioning.&#038;nbsp; Lots of squats, planks, etc.&#038;nbsp; There are people training for the Ironman, Triathletes, Marathons at C3.&#038;nbsp;&#038;nbsp; And then there is me.&#038;nbsp; Tough workout.&#038;nbsp; Barre was pretty tough too.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;So my plan is to continue with Yoga everyday and add C3 once a week and Barre Fitness once a week.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am a vegetarian and we are moving towards a vegan diet.&#038;nbsp; Doing pretty well on that front.&#038;nbsp; Lots of planning though for meals.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;We had some wonderful cool mornings last week and weekend so I got more hikes in than usual. Been having some shoulder pain form overdoing it on some other projects so I've taken a little break from the weights.&#038;nbsp; I wish I could focus on stretching more - I'm so averse to moving slow/relaxing that I can barely force myself to do 5 mins. of stretching, let alone the 20 mins. that I could likely use. I think at home we've been on some sort of weird bacon fest. Today I used self control and absolutely refused bacon at breakfast (even though DH had cooked up a huge batch and it was &#034;ready to go&#034; in the fridge). Repeat to self &#034;Bacon is not good.&#034;

The last week or two the only exercise I've been getting is walking the dog. Started back on weights Friday and am on track again. My weight is in the lower normal range so that's good. 				<description>&#060;p&#062;Joined the gym in the shopping concourse right under the building where I work.  Assessment and orientation on Monday and workouts Tuesday through Friday this week.  I can get in a 2-3 mile treadmill run and a quick hit of core work and/or stretching before a shower and RTW.  Felt much more like my regular self this week, though my abs were a little sore!

&#060;p&#062;I just had an emotional setback...I tried on a couple of formal pieces that I rarely wear after thinking about Joy's thread in the main forum. &#038;nbsp;They were too tight.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I suspected that could be the case in the shoulders as I have been working out a lot and have more muscles. &#038;nbsp;But they were also too tight in the waist, upper hip area. &#038;nbsp;So I think the fashion for loose/flowing/boyfriend fit has made me a little too relaxed and I have not realised that I have thickened up through the middle. &#038;nbsp;On the positive side I am healthy.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;It is spring here so I need to be a little less indulgent, keep up the exercise and watch the eating.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;This has been a really hard week for me. A particularly stressful meeting and the blowout the following day (after a week of stressful meetings, someone moving into my home unexpectedly, and the SO having major work stress) caused a serious flare up of my illness. I desperately need to get back into some form of exercise, but I also need some TLC-- unfortunately my worst flares are like a flu-like illness with the aches and pains and fatigue but always affects systems the flu never touches, like the bladder! Woe is me (jk, of course)! That said, I need a flu shot and I'm going to try to drink less coffee, sleep more, take my vitamins and anti-inflamatories, drink more water, and take a few walks this week. Once I get myself back on track I can build back up to what I really want to be doing!
