My week has been consumed with putting up our graveyard. I'm getting the candy ready. I make bags of a few pieces. Glad you posted Mo. It's getting cold here too, but at least they took the snow out of the forecast for Friday. Glad your BF found a job.

I'm a little out of my routine too. I read a while back about someone who was making a Monday resolution, every week was a new chance to start over. I think it is time for me to make a Monday resolution.

Hi! I miss these posts the most I think
I'm having a hard time getting into a routine. I run once or twice a week right now while the weather is holding, but that won't last. 6 inches of snow predicted starting Halloween night.
Food is better. BF has been cooking and although it's all the fat and twice the calories (duck etouffe for example) it is so rich that a little goes a long way. And it's REAL food instead of convenience heat and eat crud.
I need to get in a rhythm with the weights. We have a home gym. No excuse. Well, that room is freezing cold, but that's not a good excuse. BF and I both got very tired last week after lifting and then heading out for errands. Altitude adjustment still, no doubt.
Weighing in just over 120 - aim to get and stay there all winter as a goal. Wine intake is alright. Once I get myself a job I think that will automatically decrease as I'll have less 'play' time. BF did get a job (yay) so that is a wonderful development.
Stay healthy ladies!! Mwah!

I looked at my food diary. No wonder--and it faded away at the end of last week. Food diary is key for me, along with keeping track of exercise.

My week was okay on the food front but I missed a two out of four gym sessions as DH was away and I had to stay home with the 9 year old (can't leave him alone at 6am!)

I had plans twice for 4pm walks and both times got derailed as the afternoon evolved which is a lesson to do the exercise earlier in the day!

Continuing with Flow Yoga classes 4 times a week. My hip is a lot better. I walk every day except when it is pouring rain. Food is okay. Could be better. Trying to continue to drink water. Started to take biotin for my hair. I had it cut 2 weeks ago by a new hair dresser (my regular one is 3 hours away). Not thrilled with results. Biotin is suppose to make hair grow faster. Not sure about that but my skin is breaking out! I have never had break outs. Apparently this happens to some people. Okay enough about that.

My plan is to do Yoga everyday for next week, improve eating, walk more and stop the biotin.

Not a very good week--wasn't sick but not feeling well. Very busy, still haven't lost the last few pounds gained on cruise.

But--I looked at last year and I am still 6 pounds lower than I was then--and at this point a year ago I was just at the beginning of a 3 month weight gaining season. I don't want that to happen again, and I am proud of myself for reporting in every week and overall keeping to a healthier level of food and exercise.

Although I spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer or reading, I am catching myself once an hour or so and getting up to walk around and stretch and move so that I don't get so stiff. I keep reminding myself posture, posture and posture.

My weight is doing very well; I need to step up the exercising just a touch, perhaps. Overall things are holding steady.

I have been slacking off at the gym and my mood has been suffering as a result., so this week I've signed up for two boot camp classes in addition to my usual two trainer sessions.

Last week was better -- I did two trainer sessions, a walk around the Rose Bowl, and a boot camp class. Feeling better already!

Food has been hit or miss. With all the dust and dirt in the house it's hard to do much cooking so I've been living on frozen meals from Trader Joe's, which isn't exactly optimal. Unfortunately that will probably continue for a few more weeks.

Weight is still at the high end of my normal range. Hopefully I can drop a pound or two with the increased exercise.

need some moral support to keep low on carb intake. my goal is no more than 30 g net carbs. i've been averaging closer to 50-100.

Great week! 4 treadmill runs with core work at the gym, and a 2000 metre swim workout. The YMCA that has the pool had a poster advertising a 'suffer fest'. I've only heard that applied to one thing...a serious spin class! (Last year I joined a triathlon group that hired a spin teacher to lead once a week 2 hour spin sessions...)

Anyway, when I asked about it, the woman at the counter confirmed that it is a spin class with video of stages of 'the Tour de France' and a leader to 'guide' us. DS was with me, and said the spin bikes were the best quality he had ever seen. I'm hoping the class schedule meshes with my work week. If I could get at least one spin class a week, that would be fantastic!

Another really busy week. Exercise was ok, food was good. Weather was unseasonably warm this week so I'm spending as much time outside as I can. I hope it holds out for Halloween.
