I had a good week. My hip is starting to feel better. I did 4 Flow Yoga classes. I walked with my dog everyday. Eating was good. I hear everyone about work interfering with their workouts. I am retired so I am so grateful for the time but when I was working I was lucky to get in 2 workouts a week. Eating was always a challenge as well.

Oh yeah - I hear you about work interfering with exercise time. I struggle with it too! Plus, my husband and I are trying to pare down our stuff, and so we got rid of one vehicle - which means I also have to schedule my workouts around his schedule! Yuck!
I had a good week though - and completed two full weeks of my Boot Camp Game Changer Challenge. I've lost 4 lbs and 15 1/2"! Unbelieveable! I have 4 weeks to go and can't wait to see what the final results will be! Very excited and motivated! Stay strong everyone!

Dropped 3 of the almost 5 pounds gained on cruise, but having a harder time getting back into exercising. Proceeding with caution. As the weather changes and we wear more clothing, it gets harder to get into exercise gear and just do it, not to mention that I'm still pretty stiff.

Those sound hard challenges to fit in exercise. There are no easy answers except that even if it is a 15 minute walk it is better than nothing. I did used to think if I couldn't do a decent block it was not worth it, whereas now I realise anything is better than not doing it at all.

Steady week, four good gym workouts and a good walk, and lots of gardening, soil shifting etc in the weekend. A few wines but food has been reasonable.

This week I can't get to the gym as DH is away and I can't leave the young son home alone so I need to fit in walks or bikes or cycles during the day. It is a lovely time of year here though (mid spring) so it should not be too hard to make it work, and a change can be good.

My job is a major workout killer--- it is fairly physically active (some days) so I get a bit of a boost there, but right now it sucks. I'm working five 9 hour days with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch and a 45 min commute each way and looking at being forced to start working 10 hour days. I get up at 6 am to get out of the house by 7 (which is necessary because I share a bathroom with 4 other adults, and have a dog and things around the property that need taking care of each morning) and don't get home until 6:15. The only way I can get a workout in is if I get up at 5 and go for a pre-dawn neighborhood run, because the nearest gym doesn't open until 6. Because of combined work and household logistics evening workouts are also out. I don't mind 5 am, but because of other members of my household I can't go to sleep at 9 pm. Not an ideal situation at all!

Oh, yeah! Long work days...ugh.

Managed one out door run, and 4 gym days last week. Then, found a pool in a neighbouring community (the local pool, a short walk from home, is closed until next summer for refurbishment) and had my first swim in 4 months!

This week will be a challenge. Tomorrow there is a work related luncheon I must attend, and it is Toronto Fashion week and the tents will be set up in a park near where I work. I am tempted to skip lunch hour workouts in favour of checking out the street style!

Busy week at work. So food was good, exercise not so much. Does your job interfere with your workout time ever? Mine seems to want to take up all of my time.
