My indulgences are coffee, red wine and dark chocolate and I'm not giving them up.  I also try to get a good night's sleep.  I'm not getting up as early with work closer now which is good.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Had breakthroughs in all 3 sports (swim, bike, run) this week. I didn't feel stronger or less tired getting to the workouts, but times were faster across all 3.  Could be the accumulation of training over time or the 'new' weight training program? &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I have another race coming up, so abstaining.  Food was good.  I know what fixes the gastro problems, but need to be consistent.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;DS is changing jobs and had some unexpected vacation time, so he and DIL decided to come here for a week. Great to see them, but this means more eating out--how about eating and drinking you way around Half Moon Bay--could make a song about it. Next fancy dining in SF. Anyway, I've tried to get time in for exercises, but my weight is going up this week. So up and down--I feel like I'm on a weight roller coaster.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Life will calm down next week, I hope. In the meantime I'll do my best and get prepared for a healthy September.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Well done Lisa and Laura on your work towards your goals!! &#038;nbsp;Shedev, Anne, Grad fashionista, Barbara Diane - &#038;nbsp;it is one step forward and one back sometimes. &#038;nbsp;But if you keep taking the step forward you do win some weeks.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I have been steady on exercise and eating, with only a couple of lapses. &#038;nbsp;We had some marshmallows in the house for a dessert and I was very greedy with them - and regretted it. &#038;nbsp;I am focussing on cutting most added sugar, exercising well, eating whole foods, and sleeping enough. &#038;nbsp;I have not been drinking wine except for Friday and Saturday nights.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Good work LisaP!&#038;nbsp; I've been trying to get a lot more sleep too. Working on getting at least a&#038;nbsp;7 hour average according to my Fitbit. I fall asleep at my desk way too often! Sometimes exercise suffers when I prioritize sleep though.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Not a great week for me. Super busy (like Shedev!)&#038;nbsp;and several workouts missed. A lightening weekend trip to the country with lots of lolly and chocolate eating.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Just had my latest appraisal at the gym. Skinfolds and weight up a little, but not overall body fat (to any significant amount anyway). Fitness down (not surprising given I've been on knee rehab) and blood pressure high for the first time in my life, though it may be a one off fluke.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Well done on the 9 miles Sarah, and the chin ups GF!&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Holy crap! &#038;nbsp;You can do 3 &#060;i&#062;sets&#060;/i&#062; of over hand chin-ups? &#038;nbsp;Kudos to you!! I can do just a few underhand grip ones, but no way are my forearms and wrists strong enough for an overhand grip. &#038;nbsp;I'm mid-way through week 3 of my program, and going strong. It's a long haul though, and my spirits are flagging now and then. &#038;nbsp;Have to keep reminding myself nothing is a given and hard work is key. &#038;nbsp;Currently focused on getting a lot of sleep and rest &#038;nbsp;too ...and practicing mindfulness and meditation when I feel my stress level ramping up. &#038;nbsp;I am enjoying kombucha, and tea in place of my evening glass of wine - and noticing my skin is loving the dietary changes I've made.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;A slow week for me! Only two weightlifting workouts, the first of which involved repulling the back--ugh. I'm moving and traveling this week and next, and don't anticipate getting to the gym. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Silver lining: I'm still able to do sets of 3 overhand pull-ups, with a slow and controlled form, and my chin clearing the bar by a few inches. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I tried going for a run yesterday, but walked home after jogging for ten minutes. Too hot, too humid, and I haven't jogged in 2.5 months. Runners, I don't know how you do it.  Between bad feet, knees, and back, and hypermobility, I know my goals should be modest, would it would be nice to run an 8min mile effortlessness . &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Eating is worse than it has been for a while, but I'm not stressing too much about it at the moment. &#060;/p&#062;
