				<description>&#060;p&#062;The cake turned out well! I made half the recipe since it was just for me, and I used half almond flour and half hazelnut flour. I couldn't taste the hazelnut flour. It is a very moist cake and tastes just as described by the recipe author--like a cake that has had syrup on it.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Here is what is left. I didn't have a pretty pan to bake it in so just used a glass loaf pan.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Be careful serving anything made with this flour to those who may  be allergic.  DH has a very bad allergy to hazelnuts.  He can’t even breathe when his throat swells shut.  The gluten free trend has been life threatening for some of us.  As a type 2 diabetic, I live in fear of rice in food putting me in the hospital.  It means reading labels every time at the grocery store, a slow process,  2 small bites of a gluten free pancake and my blood sugar was over 300.  A normal one is below 70.  I should have gone to the hospital.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I’ve used almond flour as a substitute for regular flour to make the crumble topping on a cobbler (apple, apple+pear, peach). It was delicious and boosts protein. &#038;nbsp;You might be able to do the same with hazelnut flour. &#038;nbsp;I LOVE the flavour of hazelnut, but found out the hard way that I am VERY allergic to them.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Mr. Maven bought some for his diet--he's lost 60 pounds now. He's been buying different kinds of grains and other kinds of flour. He wasn't quite sure what to do with it, so he's been adding it to muffins he is experimenting with. He's also added some to Krusteaz muffin mixes also adding extra water or egg whites. It gives the muffins a bit of a richer taste. So far no amazing recipes, but I'll ask him if he's run across any good ideas.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
