Normally I just throw a bunch of clothes into a suitcase the night before and then wonder why I never seem to have anything to wear. Which is odd, because I am normally VERY much a "planner" in everything else I do. This time, I was pretty much entirely packed the week before and just had to add the last minute items. I may have overpacked, especially since we were staying at condos and had a washer and dryer in both units, but it was nice to keep the washing to a minimum. I hired a professional photographer - it was SO worth it. She spent an hour with us taking pictures and had all of the photos uploaded to her website for us to see in just a couple of days! Busy! (and why I couldn't make the Seattle clothing swap - SO disappointed). I didn't take many "outfit" shots. I'm the family photographer and there are rarely many pictures of me, so there's only a few that actually show what I'm wearing!</p> <p>1. You saw this one already - headed out to dinner.<br /> 2. A "gear" shot. Our week on the Big Island was really active. These orange Merrell shoes did double duty as super lightweight running shoes and my hiking around shoes. It was INSANELY windy that day - thus the wild and crazy hair!<br /> 3. I think this little striped dress looked better IRL - at least I hope it did because I loved it and wore it quite a bit.<br /> 4. Another one you saw already - cocktails outside our condo before heading out to dinner.<br /> 5. I wore these Loft white shorts quite a bit. With a Target black mesh top.<br /> 6 - 9. A few of the family portrait shots we had done on the beach. I'm really pleased with how they turned out and so glad I set it up! 8 is a close-up so you can see how my beachy hair turned out - I'm glad I went curly! 9 is one of my favorite pictures of my little guy! </p> <p>Hoping to spend some time getting caught up around here in the next few days! </p>
