Mags are fabulous for inspiration and "training your eye" (as my mother used to say) but do you remember Cosmo and the "20 ways to please your man?" type articles or the fashion pronouncements from fashion mags like, "This season, the blue purse is IT." I don't see them ever falling away. Fashion Week is still all about skinny pants. So many fashion gurus are eating their words. We are heading into our 5th year and 9th season of skinnies. AMAZING. </p> <p>Although jeggings and leggings are competing with them for tucking purposes. I must be one of the few who does not wear boots over leggings, and I don't own jeggings. I wear boots over proper skinnies or jodhpur jeans. Did you also notice how for the cargo skinny examples, all of the models are posed sideways? I'm thinking it's because the hip and thigh pockets make the models look "wide" so they have minimized the issue with the poses.</p> <p>I also always love their shoe guide: The vast majority of the boots and shoes they feature have a 3-4" heel, except for if they have a flats section.
