My order had arrived no problem. The box had been everywhere, even China. Turns out it was a missing order for someone that was missing for many months. The story of the traveling boots.</p> <p>Twice recently I've received packages from Nordstrom with only the item inside, no paperwork anywhere. </p> <p>I think with the quantity of online ordering and shipping they just have a percentage of error built in. And given how much we order online, we are likely to have this happen. I understood more with the item I ordered on the last day of NAS, but was surprised it happened recently. Some company could have lost a few thousand dollars on that one. The silvery company would not let us refuse delivery, so the seller had to pay for a return pick up. It was a beautiful jacket, and fit very nicely. I decided to keep the navy Cole Haan jacket from Macy's instead for several reasons, one being that the Merlot color was a little too muddy for me. Lo and behold, I noticed the jacket came in olive! It was on sale, but not as good as during NAS. I ordered it. It took a long time to be delivered - eleven days. I was getting very impatient. Yesterday my husband came home with two identical boxes. Inside were identical olive jackets. I checked my account, and I did not accidentally order two jackets. Why couldn't they have been different colors?! Just kidding. I'm on hold with Nordstrom customer service right now.</p> <p>Just spoke with CS and one jacket came from a store and one from the vendor. </p>
