Ooooooh.... I bought a 60's or 70's spy-girl burgundy leather coat for $8.98 at Goodwill two weeks ago. It is in beautiful condition, but has that 'deodorized' smell that some GW clothes have. I went over it a good deal with leather moisturizer, but in reality, it could use a little more softening up. I may try this but I am still thinking about it....

I wash my All Saints and J Brand lambskin ones all the time --and I put them in the dryer to shrink them back up a bit.

If the finish is garment washed leather this won't hurt them and will actually make them softer over time. If it's a polished/finished/shiny leather it won't ruin them but it will dull the finish to look a bit more aged.

Hope this info helps!

Not sure but I do remember Rae washed a leather jacket and someone else a leather purse and the result was excellent. I used to have jeans with a leather strip down the side and I washed those with no mishaps. It could be risky though.

http://www.stylecaster.com/how.....her-pants/

http://byrnenotice.com/you-kno.....e-machine/

Both of these indicate you can get them sopping wet, and even throw them into the drier.

Is it real leather?? If it is, pelase laundry. Real leather only have to be washed by who knows well. Faux leather can be washed by hands, with neutral soap. And let it dry on plane surface.

I believe they're that group over there -- the ones that are huddled and weeping. ;)

Leather leggings would be way too anxiety-provoking for me so I don't have an answer. Washing them does seem like a risky business, though.

And leather cleaning -- pfft. It just cost me $45 to find out that the musty scent on my Marc jacket is not removable via that method.

I scored a pair of Vince leather leggings off eBay. Research indicates they can be washed like anything else but reports conflict. Advice from a one who owns lamb skin leggings appreciated!
