Thank you everyone for the enthusiasm!

Janet -- thank you for your thoughts--super helpful. I'm a little wider than you-- 34DD and similarly short waisted relative to my height (which is short lol).

And also how did I miss that Aleah dress???!! with sleeves??! Beautiful.

I'm really excited to get back to anthro and try it on!

I was drooling over that dress online too! I am hoping it shows up in my local store to try. Love, love all the colors and the feminine styling.

Oh wow, I just looked at the dress on the Anthro site and it turns out it is the same cut (just without sleeves) as this dress I got last year — I didn’t realize it was TR (for some reason I thought it was Maeve). This fits me well even in the chest. So definitely worth trying. In fact, I’m thinking of trying one of the sleeveless ones myself since it’s so hard for me to find good casual summer dresses!

ETA: my torso is definitely on the shorter side relative to my height. If you have a longer torso and need a small size, this may not work for you. I’m not exactly skinny (understatement of the year) and at 5’7” and 150+ I bought a size small. Of course, this is a whole new cut so sizing may be different, so worth trying!

TR never fits me properly, but this striped dress from Anthro came close. I have a small rib cage so I’m a little narrow across the back but busty (current bras are 32G ugh) — so their cuts are usually too roomy in the back and not roomy enough in the front.

That’s a really pretty dress though so worth trying!

So cheerful and pretty! I would try it and see if it works, it would be worth the effort. I have four TR dresses, all different cuts/styles, but they fit. My chest is small, my torso is narrow, but my shoulders are wide in comparison.

I have 2 Tracy Reese dresses and they fit well around my bust—B/C cup and a very wide rib cage. Go back and try it on! The colors are gorgeous.

I saw it on the rack the other day and it stopped me in my tracks. So pretty. But I figured i would be too busty for the style, especially with Tracy Reese. But I"m reading the reviews and there are several saying they weren't busty enough to fill it out. ? any thoughts on if it suits a longer/shorter torso also appreciated!
I'd love to know if it's worth my heading back to the store.
