The 2 short arrived and it is working for me! The short, as opposed to petite, has a larger waist and hip allowance, but a short inseam. The fabric does give after a few hours, which helps me. Now I realized though that I don't have any shoes to go with the pants... The difference between my waist/hip measurements is about 9” but my thighs are thick. Usually curvy fit works for me but not this time. The waist fit great but the the thighs were baggy and there was extra fabric in the crotch area. I was going to return but based on Angie’s comment I will check out the straighter cut available in store. The fabric is stretchy and feels like it might stretch out. I love the print and they work incredibly well with existing tops and shoes, so I am all set for the holiday season. </p> <p>The petite fit was good on me, but agree that the waist is snug fitting. I like how it has a wide waist band and sits at natural waist vs high waist.
