I tried them on just a few days ago and found the fit to be pretty similar between the washes. However, I much preferred the wash with the regular back pockets for me. I normally like a flap pocket detail (I don't have a big booty), but I found the square pocket very unappealing on my backside.

I should add that the wash I bought did not look much lighter than the other one.

Here's a dumb question. Are those actual holes, or fraying with solid denim underneath it?

I agree with Anne on sizing. GAP is all over the place with its various washes.

Well, with Gap jeans, sizing can differ between lighter and darker washes, in my experience. I've noticed that the sizing is more generous in the lighter washes. My advice would be to try a few different sizes in these.

A note about the fraying - I personally wouldn't buy them because of the holes on the thighs. What's the point of spending $70 on jeans only to have the holes get larger each time you wash them? I hate it when clothing companies do this!

Perusing the gap site, I noticed these. I know the flap pocket boyfriends were cut a little different, what about these? They confuse me when they give an item the exact same name, but they list it separately instead of as a color option.

http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....=243740002

They look to be the same cut as the sexy boyfriend jeans that so many of us have adopted. Has anyone tried out this wash to see if the fit is the same? I wish they didn't have the fraying, but I like the color. I've been wearing my boyfriends every change I get, so duplicating in another wash seems like a good idea.

Any experience?
