I was right, I should have sized down. The color is really pretty. It is grey indoors to me, but it is a warmer tone and has a sheen to it that sometimes makes it appear brownish. I love the drama of it and the fur on the collar is a really pretty color. As it is too big, it is going back. I agree with that vests are much more useful in certain climates. My climate is warmer. That with my drafty house make vests very useful. Plus I like the look. I ordered it and am hoping it is long enough to not look ridiculous over long cardigans. I am hoping for more of a grey than brownish or taupe color. Even around the house when there is a chill, outdoors, it goes with everything else I wear.
