However, I haven't worn them out of the house yet. </p> <p>I see what you all mean about the toe cleavage. I debated for a long time whether I should order the 5.5 to compare, but ultimately, I need the bigger size for my nearly W, higher volume, bunion feet.... especially if we're talking pointy toes!</p> <p>Width wise (and fit wise) the buckles are a huge positive for me. Like having the adjustability and support of lace-ups, but in a polished heel. Adjusting the buckles just so, the 1/2 size works pretty good. I'm less concerned about the toe cleavage than I am about a slight gap at the heel, which may be more noticeable since it's got the ankle strap. However if I size down to eliminate that, then I highly suspect I'll have pinch-ey &nbsp;squeeze-y toes on the other end. (but ironically, less toe cleavage... )</p> <p>If these were lengthwise a solid size 6, they'd be utterly perfect. Dang Euro-sizing!</p> <p>I am keeping them and I'm intent on making them work. Who the heck looks at the back of the heel anyway? As is they are super comfortable, and super CUTE, prancing around in my house. It's really unpredictable though... and I think it tends to be more about where the arch hits rather than length. A 6.5 may feel fine sitting and standing, but then when I walk... ouch!&nbsp;</p> <p>Euro sizing for some odd reason has always been more hit than miss for me. I've never been able to figure out why that is. Right now I only have one pair of euro-sized shoes, and I think they were a 36, but I'm not sure. They may be 35s. I wish I knew, because I'd re-order them, but the size has rubbed out.&nbsp;</p> <p>We shall see when they arrive! Hopefully I get lucky. They were quite comfy but a little delicate for me, plus the toe box left too much foot exposed for me - if toe lines are showing, then my feet look really wide and weird. My feet are on the widish side and they are very comfortable for me (there is some padding) and the ankle strap fits fine with no rubbing. My only complaint is that the thin straps mean there are teeny holes to buckle them and with 4 buckles, they wouldn't be good for getting dressed in a hurry! I usually wear a 7.5-8 (8 in pointy styles) and the 38 fits very well. The quality seems quite good for the price point. I wore them the other day (with slim leg black pants) and got several compliments.
