I just had a brilliant (?) idea - jeans (and denim skirts) sold with lines printed on the inside to hack them off at different lengths. I always laugh when I see people complain that their raw hem jeans are too long... simple solution!</p> <p>If you're feeling extra crafty you could make a skirt from an old pair of jeans - that way you'd get the cool effect of the jeans pieces overlaid. I would say probably 20" is ideal. I would also be OK with a longer one that I could hack myself.&nbsp;<br />--not too high rise<br />--not too stiff<br />--bonus if it has asymmetrical hems or something like that </p>
