A former neighbor used to sell it, so I bought my first couple things at a Cabi party at her house. Then...I discovered sample sales and the nearby Cabi outlet. I agree that retail pricing is generally higher than I would expect it to be, but I have several items from 9-10 years ago that are still going strong. I tend to gravitate to their colored jeans, long cardis and jackets. Maybe check whether you have an outlet nearby. I tried on a couple of CAbi pieces at a consignment store recently but passed because even on consignment, they seemed pricey for what was essentially a white t-shirt. I love their color choices, though. Being petite, few things fit me but each season I seem to pounce on 2-3 pieces that are workhorses. The Chanel or Jackie O&nbsp;knit jackets bridge my casual to dressy outfits, and print tops are designed to work with many flattering colors. At the time, a long sleeved knit dress was $100. Some of the pieces were okay, some a little frumpy for my taste. All the pieces stretch,so they were really comfortable and could fit a variety of bodies. My girlfriend bought a ton of stuff and a basic pair of work pants that were really nice, she wore them all the time. &nbsp;I think they came in S,M, L, XL. </p> <p>I thought the party was fun, It all depends on your salesperson and your comfort level with trying things on. There were about 15-20 women there and the funniest/oddest part of the party were the people trying clothes on in front of strangers in the dining room, living room, etc.because the bathroom and bedroom were occupied.</p> <p>I would consider having a clothing party but I tried it with jewelry once and discovered my friends aren't into parties like that at all. Complete fail. A few came just to be nice and most didn't show. The poor woman hardly sold anything. I rather like the whole concept for someone trying to build a capsule...I especially like some of their toppers, but they are expensive in my view. The things reminded me of Chicos and were rather pricey. One would need to chose carefully. As I remember, if you ordered it, there were no returns.
