So trying to pair up tops/ pants /jackets more and not add just randomly. I don't depend on them every day, but I find it helpful to have more good options than I did , to be prepared in case, and to keep checking on whether they still work.<br /> Jane, I am about 5'5" ( but could be shrinking!). The Theory jacket is shorter than my usual. I'm not a big cropped wearer except with actual dresses. Si that's one reason I liked the shoe trend with straps to kinda make the ankle or cropped pant legline longer( at least in my imagination!) to balance hip- length jackets. I think those would work, too. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/happy-pleated-pants-angies-shoes#post-1839899 Sat, 26 Aug 2017 14:13:17 +0000 unfrumped 1839899@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I had to pass on some of my pleated pants and have had a hard time finding replacements that fit right and went with other things.<br />I got these pinstriped ones from BR even though the waist is not at all high on me, but they were comfortable and had a reasonable drape.<br />Pic 1 is WIW this week with trusty BR gray blazer<br />Pic 2 is another version , reverse colors with gray dressy T and Theory white linen jacket.<br />Shoes are the PG blue suede--I almost did not get because they are different from my fab PG ankle strap (Find 3) and the toebox is not as deep, so they are not AS comfortable; but decided to go ahead due to suede forgiveness. They work with longer pants that have less room for a high ankle strap and of course, navy. I would not duplicate, but they are working well to create specific pants looks and also work with some skirts.<br />Comments and suggestions welcome. </p>
