For example, black pants are a classic, but they come in different silhouettes depending on the period: higher or lower waist, straight vs tapered etc. Trendy is something not made to stay, a very "of the moment" look. Think of the high-low hems in skirts and dresses of a couple of years ago... I can't actually define it, but I think I know it when I see it. But trendy comes and goes-current lasts a while!&nbsp; </p> <p>Anyhow lets keep up this interesting, helpful, and very worthwhile board-and a big HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
