Please let him know I am grateful to him for serving our country.</p> <p>Today at my annual physical my doctor pronounced me "extremely healthy." My mother passed away when she was the age that I am now (of breast cancer) and by the time my brother was my age, he had already suffered through colon cancer (he's fine now). It's so GOOD to be outside and feel sun on skin (face only - not warm enough yet to be baring arms and legs!).&nbsp; I also enjoyed a nice lunch out with a glass of wine with a good friend yesterday - we sat near a wall of glass to maximise the sunshine, and after a while had to pull down a blind - we were both red in the face (from the sun, NOT from the wine!).</p> <p></p> <p>PS - Belated Happy Birthday, <b>CC</b>. Also I want to get back to my workouts this week.</p> <p>I bought two new bikinis as my new Next clothing catalogue came at the weekend and I wanted to get them before my sizes sold out, so I've been dreaming of Greece!</p> <p>Oh, also Bilbo my cat went to the vets for another weigh-in and his weight has dropped a little more, yay! </p> <p>Another happy moment is that all being well I'm pinching most of Wednesday off to play in my closet :D....pray that no urgent work comes in...</p> <p>Ok, back to you all now. We had amazingly happy news this weekend -- my son, who will be finishing his active duty in the Marine Corps on Tuesday, got word that he's been accepted into the Master's program in Marriage and Family Therapy at San Diego State University! Woo hoo!! The whole family is happy and excited and over the moon! He starts in June and will be staying with me until school starts. And he and I are hoping to squeeze in a trip to England, France, and Spain in the meantime.</p> <p>Here he is all dressed up in his uniform for his admissions interview, which was just last week. Apparently he made a big impression because it didn't take long for the school to say "yes!"</p> <p>Who else has a happy moment to share? </p>
