My Bulgarian friend taught me about it long ago - except that she would tie her bracelet to the first tree she saw with flowers. (Maybe because we have no storks here in Boston!). On the streets greetings of 'Chestita Baba Marta' can be heard all day between friends and acquaintances.&nbsp; As I live in a small town - this is repeated quite often :).&nbsp; This is one of the fun and interesting ancient Bulgarian traditions I am embracing here on the Black Sea. </p>
