Runcarla, the yellow pants outfit is fabulous. Yellow definitely is a very happy color! Things that make me happy are great colours, with cobalt blue particularly. I also like to see my style move on and wearing new styles makes me happy (like white jeans in winter and my white boots).  RunCarla, I am envious of your t-shirt finds. My college is well known for the popularity of bikes there, and they used to sell cute tees at the bookstore. I just checked their online bookstore and there's nothing but generic looking tees. What a lost opportunity. What makes me super happy? For one thing, my silver sandal clogs, and my ponchos. We seem to have emerged from the never ending winter, and I'll be able to wear them again. I could not agree more about red footwear; it puts a smile on my face whether it's on my own feet or someone else's. MUST get a pair of red shoes or sandals this year! (Or both.)  And I love all your items for you. Mustard yellow loves you just as much as you love it!  I own quite a few happy items. But maybe not as many as I need, especially for winter. Your post has given me food for thought. If more of my happy items are spring-summer, is that because such items are easier to find in that season, or am I happier because I happen to have them for that season?  Regardless -- my red coat (winter) is a happy item for me. My regular size 9.5 seemed too big. I would have sized down, but they were the only pair! Green Superfeet on top of regular foot bed = perfection. Superfeet provide the arch support I need. With Superfeet inserts they have become my favourite shoes for comfort. The colour makes me happy, and seems to make other people happy too. They work for weekends, and for 'casual Fridays' at work. Red shoes have always had a place in my closet, and every time I have worn red shoes, the day has been justt a bit more fun! This made me think about other items that have made me happy, Regardless of how 'on trend' the garment. My Joe Fresh bicycle T-shirt always made me happy. I wore it as part of travel outfits to races, and on weekends. I wore it into the ground in 2 years. and now I'm on the search for another bicycle motif T-shirt. Wearing yellow makes me happy. I don't have a lot in my closet, but gosh-darn it, every time I wear yellow I have a good day! Regardless of trendiness, quality, etc. - what items of apparel bring you the highest happiness?
