Also, so many reds exist (watermelon, cherry, etc.) with various saturation levels, and some may go with your wardrobe better than others. However, I do think the absolutely most versatile bag you are considering is the taupe. Do you need another light coloured neutral? Because if not, go with the one that sparks the most joy. The leopard print may prove to be much more versatile than you think. I wear my bag with almost any combination. MK burgundy, small but v good for day to evening, doesn't hold much&nbsp;<br />4. as above but with cross body strap<br />5. navy leather, open topped, shoulder bag, okay but doesn't give me great joy, not much used<br />6. Mulberry cream, that DH gave me 10 years ago, much loved, reinstated to regular use recently<br />7 what I carry on a heavy commute (text book - heavy sigh)<br />8. what I carry on a light commute (fiction - happy)</p> <p>Bags I am thinking about - 9 to 11, not the exact styles but colours I am thinking of<br />Animal print - but I think it will be too much for me to use well into the future<br />Red - for colour, but I am concerned that I may get bored in 2 to 3 years time<br />and with the animal print and the red, too 'shouty' for me</p> <p>olive or taupe - good neutral</p> <p>I am increasingly likely to change my bag two or three times a week, and interchange coats and scarfs to suit.
