These skirts are made for more of an hourglass shape, so if you're like me - straight up and down with a bit of extra in the tummy area, I wear them TSS, which for me is a 4P. Otherwise the tummy is too tight. I ordered the dark purple in a 6 and it was quite loose. I ordered the raisin in a 4 and it is quite snug. When I get home today I will lay them out and take a pic of the difference. I think it will work out for me as I am in the process of losing 7-8 lbs and it is wearable as is so should be perfect in about 4-5 lbs. </p> <p>I suspect that they had another batch come in since it had been sold out in raisin for a few weeks. Perhaps they adjusted the sizing since so many reviewers commented on how large the fit was. </p> <p>I will post the pic when I get home.</p> <p>PS. I have four other Halogen seamed pencil skirts in a size 6 and they fit beautifully, so I was perfectly confident in ordering a fifth skirt in that size.</p> <p>When it arrived I tried it on — it's a gorgeous color — with a rayon blouse and found the skirt a little tight. My first thought was, Ack! I've gained weight. So I tried on my other Halogen skirts. They all fit fine, just as they always did. </p> <p>Needless to say, this one is going back, because sizing up would make the skirt way too big. I don't know if this was just a one-off sizing error, or whether Halogen has changed the sizing of this particular skirt somewhat. I do know that the seamed pencil skirt has gotten a lot of feedback from customers saying it runs really large, and that's been my experience too.
