I just tried on an XS petite, although knowing it runs small I would have tried an S-P had it been available. I just can't make up my mind. I can report that it is a very nice soft cotton and well made. I think the XS fits me fine on the shoulders but is slightly clingy on the mid-section. I wouldn't wear it to a big meal! The sweater does not work with a skirt--too long. I tried it over some jeans, but not my dress pants yet. One wardrobe goal is to add more color to my wardrobe, but perhaps I need something more forgiving. I have a larger size on order, but it won't arrive till November. It would certainly be a great layer for someone to layer under a jacket, but I run a little warm. </p>
