The cropped kick flare seems pretty mainstream or classic at this point, to me. Other than a more formal business setting where a bona fide tailored suit is standard, I think the one-fold-shorter length would be fine for work.&nbsp;</div><div>In support of those two options, I will add that the two-fold-shorter option might get into the territory of exposing more leg when you sit down. I had a pair of cropped pants that were like that--I liked them standing, but when I sat down, I didn't like how much of my trouser sock was on display. As you know, I am often faced with the same decision, because our heights are similar.&nbsp;</p> <p>Here is how I have made the decision in the past --&nbsp;</p> <p>If I anticipate wearing the pants more in warmer temps, meaning spring and fall or summer, I go shorter. I like to expose a bit of ankle in warmer temps. But they still look good with a higher shaft bootie. So I can also wear if desired in cooler weather. That's how I handled the cross-seasonal (spring/ fall/ winter) Theory pants below.</p> <p>On the other hand, if i don/t expect to wear the pant often in warmer temps, and would prefer to wear in winter, I go longer. I like the coverage in cooler temps.&nbsp;</p> <p>Having said that, I have several pair of wide leg ankle pants that I do wear exclusively in fall/ winter/ early spring. It's very close to full length. I'm guessing if the hem was let out half an inch (or maybe an inch?) these would become full length?</p> <p><b>#5 to #8 - One Fold Shorter</b><br />One fold up brings the hem shorter, but still provides good leg coverage with the booties.</p> <p><b>#9 to #12 - Two Folds Shorter</b><br />Two folds up brings out the kick flare hem more and makes these pants look more on trend and closer to the stock photo. It also makes me look short. I will not be wearing these pants with matching dark footwear. My booties options are ivory and wine (see finds).
