Maybe it’s the lightness of weight that allows it to fall so softly and not be a huge horizontal line.</p> <p>@Joy: Thanks for the advice to hang to dry since the label says to dry flat. This has a slit on one side so it’s pretty breezy.</p> <p>@Firecracker: I was surprised that rolling the waistband didn’t add much bulk and that one roll gave a better finish than none at all.</p> <p>@Janet: I think the skirt looks more faux than leather AND that you shouldn’t be afraid of at least THESE pleats. That being said, I think I saw a NAS (real?) leather skirt that was more your style. It was wrap or faux wrap.</p> <p>I’m waiting for stuff to arrive before I take pics, but it looks like this can be a multi season skirt that will work with a wide range of toppers. This skirt was sold out last Friday, but I kept checking back and managed to snag one which arrived in record time.</p> <p>This skirt is very, very flattering. And very, very long on 5’ 1” me. The waist is a raw piece of elastic, so it actually looks better when I roll it Catholic schoolgirl style, even if it’s a few rolls. Regardless, I have a number of wide belts I can wear to cover the waist.</p> <p>I would say this skirt runs slightly large. I thought the XS would fit just right at the waist, but it is slightly loose which is another reason to roll. I have a round tummy so have previously stayed away from this style. </p>
