This is definitely not a tailored sweater, it is roomy all over, but it drapes beautifully, so doesn't look baggy. The longest part hits me about mid-thigh, the shortest part on the hip. The fabric is wonderfully soft and lightweight and the Purple Vintner a delicious shade of raspberry pink.</p> <p>With this kind of sweater, I often wonder if people who comment on the store website that they are sizing down because the sweater is "big", are perhaps not used to a roomy all-over look and like to wear it more fitted than on the model. Hard to say, of course.</p> <p>For me, going by the size chart body measurements, bust was most accurate, waist and hips will fit someone with slightly larger measurements too.</p> <p>Sorry I can't measure the XS for you. But if you have free shipping and returns, perhaps you could order both? ON me, the longest parts of the hem reached a few inches down my thigh. I'm under five feet and my legs and torso are fairly proportional to each other.
