(Okay, maybe that was mod back in the day, too--ha!) Anyway, I think the outfits look like your style. Form and flow? Maybe not so much flow, but they don't look stuffy, which I think may be the point of your "flow" aim, right? To avoid too stiff a look and feel?<br />The dress may be a little bit of a departure for you, but it doesn't look out of place with your style to me. Think of it as an extended pencil skirt, which I've seen you rock before. Even though the dress skirt isn't tapered, I think it looks streamlined because it's straight rather than a-line. The pattern is lovely--and again, flattering--with no hint of fertility goddess (LOL! but I get what you mean). What a great fit off the rack--that's hard to find in a sheath dress.<br />You do Dress Barn proud! I haven't been to one in a long time, but I wouldn't have guessed it was a "repository of frump"--had to laugh at your description--especially with these examples. <br />Oh, I like both footwear options, for different looks. The cranberry booties would be particularly great if you had another touch of the color somewhere--jewelry or bag, perhaps. </p>
