One day later there was another event, the Mehendi night where women got henna put on them, there was also Indian dancing! My daughter put henna on an Indian man’s hand as he didn’t want to miss out! She is artistic and drew a non- traditional item for him: a turtle!<br /> We joined in the dancing a little. Today is quieter with the wedding tomorrow. DH, DD2 and myself plus the cousins and some of their friends did get a swim after most of the Haldi guests left. The bride did too- despite being hosed off earlier she still had turmeric paste in her hair!<br /> The saris were so beautiful Olive Green, I had decided (after asking months ago) not to buy one because I thought it was likely to be single wear.
