I recently had my hairdresser do this. The shag part is the choppy part, and the beveling removes some of the bulk from the bottom of the cut, which helps create volume.</p> <p>You could also call Aveda's main number (I assume they have one?). She said she just finished an update class at Aveda that might work. Agreed, LOVED it. Then she closed shop and moved out of state. Cannot find a stylist who has the slightest idea what she did. I remember her saying it was a new way of 'rounding'? squaring? each piece as it was being cut. I tried calling a few Aveda salons but no leads, I'm not sure I'm describing it right. Ring a bell to anyone or have any suggestions, pics it may look like? Ideas really appreciated </p>
