Khris, I think that's a great cut! You should go for it. Like Sarah said, if it doesn't work you can grow it out.

Do it! If you don't like it, it will grow back.
I'm always*always encouraging people to go for it when it comes to hair. Perhaps because I always feel like that's the one part of me that I have total control over.
I would rather pay top dollar for a good hair cut/color than buy new clothes if I was forced to make that decision. It's an accessory you wear daily. Changing styles keeps us from falling into ruts.

I love that style, and I did it myself last year, but it just didn't work on me like it does on that model. It might be my hair texture or something, but I looked like I was in A Flock of Seagulls - the front part was just too heavy. It all depends on your own hair texture, though.

I do love short hair - I ended up cutting mine even shorter once I realized that style didn't suit me, and I LOVE it (it's a supershort pixie now). So I say at least try it - it's hair, it grows back! You can always grow it back out or cut more of it off like I did.

I used to have my hair like this Khris, I found it quite low maintenance. I had to straighten the front section every morning but the back took care of itself. I could see you rocking this cut.

Love this hair style, I'm not an expert but I know it depends on the format of your shape, if you are oval, you can go for any hair cut you like and I think that's the case.

Khris,
Pull your hair up...off your neck..... and see if you like the front ,side (jaw) and neck view...do you like your profile exposed? Remember this is well above your jaw.

If you are happy with your profile and other aspects of the look then go for it...it is super cute.:)

If you are less than thrilled with the profile(the most important aspect) then perhaps you can add elements of this cut...such as the choppy bang and layers to your current cut:)

On a personal note ...I prefer to see a strong jaw with this short a cut...not that it can't work for you...just many years in the biz talkin:)

Go for it Khris, I think this style will look FAB on you, you know that I commented on your hair while back, remember, I would much prefer to see this hair cut on you,to the one you have now! Also with your thick head of hair shoud be easy to take care of, little bit of paste, messed with fingers and go. You will need to cut it more often, to keep it looking top notch! I really hope you go for it!!!!!!!!

Uncanny Khris. I was JUST telling my mom the other day how much I love that model's hair and wish I could pull it off!

Was it you who mentioned to me that you couldn't tame your side bangs so you just cut them straight? I remember someone telling me that when I was debating cutting straight bangs instead of side bangs.

If it was you, I'm reluctant to recommend it because the bangs look super annoying. Incredibly stylish and beautiful, but always getting in your face. Not so fab.

It also looks like she straightens it, so there is some maintenance involved.

Personally, I'm too scared to get a cut like that because I really feel you need a perfectly balanced face for it and I just don't have that (not that you don't, just giving food for thought). Your face really becomes the focus when your hair is short, so as long as you are comfortable with having your face *that* exposed, go for it!

Not an expert - but I really like her hairstyle too. I think it might end up looking *amazing* on you! Very exciting

I'm all ears (eyes) on this post. My hair is 'too long' and one of these days I'll get around to making a change.

I wonder how much upkeep a style like this might require?

Meanwhile, I don't know if just my imagination or not - but I am noticing that your style is changing. Do you notice it too? Something is changing about your outfits and your style, and it's really neat!

I've become obsessed with this model's hair:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....2&P=2

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....2&P=2
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....2&P=4

I think this would work with the texture of my hair, but I have a question for hairdressers or anyone who is good with face shapes/hairstyles: in the past, I have always kept hair on the back of my neck to balance out a somewhat weak chin. With my weight loss, I am wondering if I can get away with going this shiort in the back, or if I should still keep some on the back of my neck for balance. It will take me a while to get my bahgs grown out enough to do this, but I am seriously considering a style like this.
What do you think?
