And yes, we need so little to get all excited these days! A trip to the hairdresser!! A simple lunch out with husband! WOW! (To be honest, I always got pretty excited and happy about those events but they're even more special now, for sure!)  Lyn, you asked about colour -- yes, it's natural, and no, I don't use a toner. But if I still lived in eastern Ontario I would need to use a purple shampoo occasionally because of the minerals in the water. They leave a yellow tinge on light hair. There was a lot of hair on the floor, let me tell you. My hair is really thick, so it isn't just length she was dealing with, but endless thickness. I do think a stylist can often do a better job, though, when there is a lot to work with -- if you know what I mean. She was so into her zone!  And yes, she also said she felt she was excavating the shapes of clients' heads.
