I think shoulder length makes sense, and wouldn't be too dramatic a change for you. I remember watching a guest on Oprah years ago (possibly Jose Eber), who said that once hair is long enough to go past the shoulders, it doesn't much matter to your look if it goes just past the shoulders or if it is several inches longer. He said that visually, the fact that the hair forms a break at the shoulders will make the looks similar. So if you're really worried and don't want too much change, just ask the stylist to let the length go just past your shoulders. I bet it won't seem that different at all. </p> <p>Taylor makes an excellent point about bangs and upkeep. I wash my hair every day, though only twice a week with shampoo and conditioner.
