I do like all the suggestions for something asymmetrical because you have this marvelous thick mane and it will hold a line so beautifully. I also like the suggestion to start by stages. J. Anniston's very minimalist long bob might be a nice place to take some middle ground and then cut again if so inclined. I've even seen photos of her wearing it unblown and slightly wavy. I used to have it really long and just yanked it back in some kind of ponytail all the time. Then I chopped and donated it and since then it's been back and forth. </p> <p>Right now it's at this blah mid-length with a body wave from December. Not quite long enough to pull back yet. I am willing to go short again for summer... Here are my caveats. I can't do fussy as I simply don't have the time or patience, and I need a cut that will look reasonably good if I am camping for a few days. I wear glasses, mostly my purple and citron pair.</p> <p>I love Kelly's new do but it would not flatter my face at all. I have a pear-shaped face and straight bangs or anything that makes my forehead smaller is bad news. My hair texture is medium, there is enough of it to be an otter pelt, and it is stick straight if left alone. I don't think my features are particularly feminine or delicate like Julie's (and who else got a short cut recently?).</p> <p>I would love to look as good as some of you all do in a pixie cut or shorter crop. Any ideas? </p>
