Hi - I don't find that laser hurts too much. Just little zaps -- I find it less painful than waxing. I spent about $125 to have hairs on my chin/neck and just below my belly button. I am going back in a couple of weeks because 1 treatment usually doesn't get all the hairs, as some hairs are in a different growth cycle.

It is a bit pricey - but I think over time, waxing is likely more so.

Hmm i might give it a try. Waxing cost me 45€ a treatment but its fairly quick and the results are excellent. For me the hair stays away for 3 weeks and usually i can go couple more weeks by daily plucking away the few hairs that crop up. But eventually there is so much i can´t be bothered so i wait a week and schedule a wax.

The epilator cost me about 65€ tree years ago, it's perfect for the legs, underarms, but on the bikini area it's painful.. I must confess.. so I tought of doing laser on the bikini line but it is very expensive and a friend of mine did last year and this year she has already more hair.

This came to my mind cos i had an appointment for a wax today and now i feel nice and smooth. I get rid off everything except my eye brows and hair. I have actually never tried an epilator what kind of results do you get? And how much does one cost?

Currently I do it myself with Braun silk epil hair removal, underarms, bikini line, legs, but it requires time and I'm also considering laser removal, my hair is dark and I think i'm a good candidate.. I would like also to know your experiences

Hi Mia - this is an interesting question. Currently I'm a waxing gal. I'd really like to get my bikini line and underarms laser'd though, so I'll be eagerly reading this thread to hear of other people's experiences. I have a couple of friends that have had it done, with varying results.

Hi - I just started laser hair removal. The hair has to be dark enough (the hair has to have pigment). I had some hair on my upper lip that I wanted to remove but the tech said it was too light and the laser wouldn't be able to find it.

I did end up getting a few dark hair on my neck removed, plus the area below my belly button. I've had one treatment and I can see the difference. I go back for my second treatment next week.

What is your favorite method to get rid off unwanted body hair? I used to go to the trouble of plucking them one by one but now prefer to go for a wax. I still pluck m brows haven´t found anything better for that yet.

Has anyone have experience of laser hair removal? I have thought to give it a try but im not sure about the results and its pretty expensive too. So thas giving me pause. Oh and this sugaring method i´ve hear about anyone know it and whats the resulst on it? And what are you supposed to use as strips?
