Part of my problem is that I don't have a trusted stylist. I've been to several in my area and I've never been impressed. I've asked other people and checked online reviews with no luck. My hair is generally at least several inches below my shoulders. I've tried shorter haircuts before (about chin length and shoulder length) and I've never been very happy with them. I feel like my hair poofs out strangely usually and the chin length cut was not flattering (it was basically a bob, I guess). I seem to never get what I ask for in a haircut and I don't know if that's because of my hair or bad stylists or what.
