I’m in the same boat - had a pretty short pixie for the past 6 years and decided to try something different since I ended up going for 10 weeks without a cut. Maybe a bit of a compromise? Try growing out the front, side sweeping bangs a bit longer, but go shorter on the sides and in the back.....maybe a bit asymmetrical, perhaps stacked in the back. Try it for a couple of months to see how you like it. You can always go shorter again, if you don’t care for it or styling it takes more time than you want.
