Tourmaline? Ion?&nbsp; My hair dryer is starting to give off a weird electric smell so I fear its days are numbered.&nbsp; My hair is super, super thick so I need it to move a LOT of air; heat not so much.&nbsp; When I bought this one years ago, I don't recall hearing about ions or tourmaline and maybe not even ceramic.&nbsp; I don't really want to pay $200+, but at the same time I don't want to throw money away on something that is essentially useless on my hair like those travel dryers in hotels.</p> <p>Suggestions?&nbsp; Not much wisdom on MakeupAlley, Amazon, Sephora, Beauty.com or Epinions. </p>
