On the one hand, I never plan ahead, like choosing an outfit the night before. On the other hand, I *think* about it a lot, like coming up with outfit ideas in my head, etc, although I might not actually wear it and I never try it on ahead of time, so it might not work at all. I also try on a lot of things on the fly in the morning, to the point where sometimes it makes me late. Do not second-guess your choice. </p> <p>If you're someone like me who's always doing the above, stand in your closet for at least ten minutes planning out an outfit. Afterwards, write out the reasons you made for each separate component, and for the ensemble as a whole. </p>
