As you can see they hit maybe half an inch above the top of the boots and they ride up when I sit or bend my knees. I also have Midcalf boots that would not show any skin at this length.</p> <p>ETA: Aida, that was my thought with the fringe as well. I got around to doing that this weekend, and here they are. What do you think of the length? Last photo is the original awkward top of foot length. </p> <p>I haven't attempted to recreate the fringed edge yet although I got lots of good suggestions on my precious thread, but wanted to ask about the length first. </p> <p>Obviously I cannot make them longer now but I could shorten further if we think this is still too long. I will say though that I would prefer not to go too short as I would like to be able to wear them in cooler weather with boots and no skin/sock showing. </p>
