Some of these are worn out (not owned any more -- in wardrobe history) and some are rarely worn now in my current climate (snow boots!) but I did wear the items together as a complement. I could use a similar bag myself!&nbsp;</p> <p>Second, it's a great colour. I like <b>JAileen'</b>s suggestion. She's right that greys can have different tones (cool and warm) and some don't work super well together. But if you pay attention to the undertones you can usually succeed and it doesn't have to be a perfect match to be a perfect complement!&nbsp;</p> <p>I regularly pair grey footwear or bags with pewter or silver as well, and if you have grey hair, it will also bookend. It's a color I like and one that was popular in interiors and clothing about 10-15 years ago. I wore it a lot then, but don't have anything in this shade in my wardrobe right now except for an old t shirt. </p> <p>It's a nice near-neutral (for me) that might be a good alternative to black.</p> <p>I have been thinking that it would be good to keep my eyes open for a pair of shoes or two to complement the bag. My preferred styles for fall are ballet flats, loafers, and leather sneakers.&nbsp;</p> <p>Any suggestions for a match? Calling Inge, who is often great at this sort of thing!</p> <p>Custom find below, but the same style is also available on Nordstrom (just not in this color). </p>
