I actually own two pairs of Tods shoes and I always feel frumpy when I wear them. They're so classic and yet sort of plain too. I have a dark brown patent pair that I have been wearing with my gap micro check pants and they look O.K. but not spectacular. Maybe because of the colour of the shoes (+ outfit combination), and the fact that these loafers have a small heel.</p> <p>It's a classic look, and they seem comfortable too (probably very expensive as well, Tod's or something?-) But I'd be afraid it could look matronly very quickly if not paired with the right clothes. E.g. they will probably only work with wide-legged trousers?<br /> So probably not the most versatile shoes? </p>
