Previously they'd open as a link instead of a popup; when they are in popup mode the photos don't always load, and I often have to refresh the page several times to either 1) make the photo show up in the popup, 2) go to the "next" photo (clicking next only works sometimes), or 3) close the photo after it's popped up (clicking close doesn't always close properly). Your post came soon after I had turned this thing off for a couple of hours, so I connected the performance improvement with the image toggling problem.</p> <p>So now the performance improvement is still in place, but I am excluding popup images.
