I'm enjoying the book threads, but as a general principle it would be helpful for each thread (as listed under "latest") if the subforum it was from was indicated, whether by colour code, letter, whatever.

It could be an idea to put B or Book in front of the title, just like many people put WIW in the title even though they post it in the WIW section. If you are not reading along, it will not be as crystal clear as to the readers that the book title ís a book title.

Hi Malina,

Thank you for liking the book additions.

As you know, the way the forum works is that there are multiple different topic categories. We've always had outfit posts, other style questions and discussions, OT threads... and now Book Club threads too. They all stay or re-appear on the front page as long as new replies are added.

We're not considering colour coding at the moment, because we don't think it's necessary to treat discussions on style-related books differently than all the other threads, they are after all on the topic of style too. Hope that makes sense.

One thing you can do to get a quick overview, is click on the Book Club forum tab (at the top of every page with all the other category tabs). There you can see all the book-related threads at one glance. The Book Club discussions will also be there, in the title they all have the book or movie name as prefix, so they're pretty recognizable. Then go back by clicking on the Latest tab, and start chatting as usual wherever you'd like to chime in;-)

I love that there is another aspect to the site that includes books but I'm finding it convoluted to have the book thread interspersed with the fashion ones. Particularly the latest Parisian Chic ones. If one did not read the book (like me) and all I see on the header is Parisian Chic, I open it expecting an outfit, only to find I've delved into discussion of a book I never read . . .
Is there perhaps a way to color code the book threads so we know ahead of time whether they are outfiit posts or book discussions, since they all land on the same front page interspersed together? Thanks!
