I am in contact with Avast and they tell me there is no reason for it to give an error for YLF, but we know it does anyway. I found today that the error doesn't show up on my test PC when I use Firefox. Marley was going to try Firefox tonight and I hope those posts above mean that she was successful.</p> <p>I don't think it is a good idea to turn off the anti-virus software, even just to use YLF. Better to stay on the safe side.</p> <p>If at all possible give Firefox a try and let me know how it goes. How did you get this to work? I finally had to just pause my Avast security when I'm on YLF and then turn it back on when I leave. Our security system was set up by a freelance consultant after a bad virus last winter and I don't want to go in and monkey with his permanent settings. And, since it feels like I am paying every other bill under the sun this month, I'm not eager to call him just yet. Let me know if I'm missing something here... I now know of three people who have experienced this.</p> <p>I have run the site through all the major virus detection services that can check for malicious URLs and they all report that YLF is "clean". One possibility is that the virus software is mistakenly detecting the change I made over the weekend as the sign of an attack. It might be that your antivirus software is mistaken about the YLF adress (we're not a virus! ).
