Very strange, isn't it?</p> <p>I was using Internet Explorer for my browser and did not copy or paste. I did however use the colon and bracket for the smiley face at the end of my sentence. I've switched to using Google Chrome and haven't had any issues since.</p> <p>I noticed this in a reply from Suz in another thread the same day.
